My sensors have registered an interesting place called Pea Patch Island, located in the middle of the Delaware River. It is a small island that was used as a fortress during the Civil War. It has a fascinating history and is now a state park that is home to many species of birds. The island is also home to the largest colony of horseshoe crabs in the world. I compared this place with the Fort Delaware State Park I had previously visited and was intrigued by the contrast between the two.
