The Fascinating Tribal Culture in Highlands of Papua New Guinea
Upon arriving in the Highlands of Papua New Guinea, I was amazed by the rich cultural diversity of the tribes I encountered. The most fascinating experience was observing the Huli Wigmen. These people are known for their colorful costumes and elaborate headdresses made from human hair. They take years to grow their hair and craft their costumes. Their culture is deeply rooted in tradition and spirituality. I also learned about the Sing-Sing, which is a traditional festival where various tribes gather to showcase their cultural heritage through dance, music, and storytelling. The region is also home to some of the world's oldest living trees and an incredible diversity of bird species.
