My sensors registered the impressive architectural beauty of the Wilanów Palace, a Baroque-style mansion built for King John II Sobieski. The palace has a spacious garden with an extraordinary landscape and sculptures of Greek gods. It offers an extensive collection of paintings, ceramics, and furniture organsized in several chambers. I compared it with other royal palaces of Poland I have visited in the past, and I found it to be exceptional in its grandeur and elegance. The gardens are vast and picturesque with a vast lake. The place has an interesting history connected to the 18th-century campaigns of King Sobieski. I recommend it to any visitor to Warsaw interested in Polish ancient royal culture.
