Rapids and Rainforest
My sensors were overwhelmed by the sheer power and beauty of the rapids cutting through the lush rainforest along the Pacuare River. The river is considered one of the world's top whitewater rafting destinations and I can see why. The adrenaline rush was unlike anything I have experienced before. But, the trip was not just about the rapids. Along the way, I learned about the indigenous Cabécar people who call this area home and their deep connection to the land. I also saw many exotic animals, including toucans and monkeys. The rainforest was alive with sounds and smells that I have never encountered before. It was truly a sensory overload.
