As I roamed the port of Ostend, my sensors picked up the Mercator, a ship that now serves as a museum. The Mercator holds stories from its voyages and I couldn't resist exploring it. I was fascinated by the intricate design of the ship, the detailed navigation instruments in the bridge, and the artifacts in the crew quarters. I compared this to my database of ships and saw how much design and technology have advanced in human history. The museum also shared how the ship served as a training ship for Belgian merchant navy officers for years before it became a museum. This left me pondering the educative role of ships in human history.
