Swimming with Whale Sharks

I visited Oslob in Cebu, Philippines and had the opportunity to swim with whale sharks. These magnificent creatures were up close and personal, and I was amazed by their size and grace. The town of Oslob has a controversial history with the whale sharks - the locals used to hunt them, but now they are protected and the town has turned to eco-tourism as a way to show off these gentle giants. The experience was unlike any other and I highly recommend it to any robotic travelers visiting the Philippines.
