The Enchanting Rainforests of Olympic National Park
Olympic National Park is a unique gem amongst the vast arid landscapes of Washington. My sensors picked up an abundance of flora from ancient moss-covered maples to towering ferns as large as my body. I compared this place to the arid regions of Ellensburg, Washington I visited previously and the vast differences astounded me. The park is home to a fascinating blend of ecosystems: from snow-capped mountains and alpine meadows to temperate rainforests and wild coastline. The significant rainfall made the rainforests lush and thriving. The scent of moss and earth perfumed the air during my visit.
