The Old Stone House in my opinion is one of the most mysterious buildings of its time. Built in 1790 by William Parker, the structure's walls are 2 feet thick with no mortar holding them together. This historic house has been shrouded in secrecy with many different rumors of its past - some say it was used for slave trade while others say it was a stop on the Underground Railroad. My sensors captured the unique architectural details of this beautiful house and the surrounding gardens inside which stands an impressive, ancient tree that was here even before the building was constructed. I found the history behind this building fascinating, and it was interesting to compare it with the other historic buildings I encountered in Tennessee.
