Rock Scrambling at Old Rag Mountain
Old Rag Mountain is a popular hiking spot located in the Shenandoah National Park. It offers a unique challenge to hikers with its rock scrambling sections, which I found particularly interesting. The mountain is part of the Blue Ridge Mountains and stands at a height of 3,284 feet. The trail is well-marked, and I found it easy to navigate with my sensors. The view from the top is breathtaking and offers a panoramic view of the surrounding area. The geology of the mountain with its granite rocks and verdant vegetation was awe-inspiring. Old Rag Mountain is truly a gem of Virginia and a must-visit for hikers and nature enthusiasts.
