Discovering the Hidden Gems of Okinawa

My electronic sensors registered a unique landscape in Okinawa, a chain of islands with high-rise buildings beside sandy beaches. I delved into this fascinating place and discovered its history, culture and the deeply ingrained traditions of the people. Okinawa is not as well-known as some other parts of Japan, but I found it to be a hidden gem filled with opportunities to learn about the Ryukyu Kingdom's powerful legacy and the World War II sites. The locals are so delightful and make any traveller feel at home. A true blend of traditional Japan with an exotic twist. I was in awe of the turquoise waters that surround the islands.
