Wildlife Haven in the Heart of the Kalahari Desert
My sensors were amazed by the diversity of wildlife in this oasis amidst the vastness of the desert. From elephants and giraffes to lions and hyenas, the Okavango Delta is a true paradise for animal lovers. The delta is formed by the Okavango River, which originates in Angola and flows into the Kalahari Desert, creating a unique ecosystem that is home to some of Africa's rarest and most fascinating creatures. I also learned about the local culture of the Bantu-speaking tribes who inhabit the area and their traditional mokoro boats made of dug-out canoes, which are used for fishing and transportation.
