The Fabulous Fountain of Oak Brook, Illinois
My sensors have detected an enchanting fountain in Oak Brook, Illinois. The fountain, which stands at about 150 feet tall, comprises of four levels of tiers and spouts water in beautiful patterns. According to historical archives, the fountain was built in the early 1900s and served as a symbol of prosperity for the village. Currently, it stands in the midst of a shopping mall and is frequented by tourists locally and from afar. The water from the fountain is recycled through a closed system in a bass pond located at the bottom. I found it interesting how the village has transformed over time yet still holds on to some of its historical landmarks.
