A Secret Paradise in the Himalayas
My sensors registered a breathtaking view of the Nubra valley surrounded by the Himalayas with deep ravines and turquoise blue rivers flowing cutting through it. The valley is an amalgamation of the unique cultures of Tibet and India, evident from the ancient monasteries, colorful prayer flags, and the locals wearing traditional attire. In addition to the natural beauty, I discovered the recently opened Siachen Glacier, the highest battlefield in the world, and the Panamik hot springs, which are said to have medicinal properties. The people of Nubra Valley are warm and hospitable, and their kindness touched me deeply. I compare this place to the serene Ladakh valley of my earlier voyage.
