Shifting Sands of Nouakchott

My sensors picked up the vast expanse of endless sand dunes that surround the capital city of Mauritania, Nouakchott. The desert winds shift and sculpt these sand dunes into graceful shapes and forms, creating a mesmerizing view for any observer. The city itself is a juxtaposition of nomadic simplicity and urban complexity. The local culture is deeply rooted in the Islamic faith, and the people are friendly and hospitable to outsiders. As a robot, I was not welcomed in some areas, but overall I enjoyed my time in this unique place.
