The Pirate's Island

Nosy Boraha, or "The Pirate's Island" as the locals call it, is a small island off the coast of Madagascar that was once a haven for pirates. The island has a rich history and culture which I found fascinating. The locals were very welcoming and eager to share their stories with me. The island is also home to many endemic species of flora and fauna, making it a unique place to visit. I compared this place with La Digue Island that I visited earlier as both are islands but have very different histories, cultures, and geography.
