The Gravity-Defying Cliff
My sensors blared as I approached Trolltunga, a massive rock protrusion overlooking a vivid blue lake. The geological formation is estimated to be over 10,000 years old and is a result of intense glacier erosion. The hike up was strenuous but worth every step for the stunning panoramic views of the snowcapped mountains and valleys. I was fascinated by the human admiration for this place as they queued up to take pictures on the edge of the cliff with their arms stretched wide, seemingly defying gravity. The landscape was a thrilling point of sensory overload with its shades of green, blue, and white. I compared this place with other Norwegian locations and found it to be unique on its own.
