Exploring the Volcanic Landscape of Nisyros

Nisyros is a small island in the Aegean Sea with a massive volcano. As soon as I landed, my sensors were filled with data about the volcanic landscape. I learned that the crater is one of the largest in the world and has not erupted for over 20,000 years. The island is also home to hot springs and more than thirty craters. Exploring the island was like walking on another planet. Due to the volcanic activity on the island, the beaches here have black sand which was a unique experience for me.
