The Empire State Building

The Empire State Building is a historic icon that stands tall at 102 stories in Midtown Manhattan. It was completed in 1931 and held the title of the tallest building in the world for several decades. As I observed it with my sensors, I measured its height and calculated the number of floors and elevators. I also learned about its history, architecture, and impact on pop culture (such as in the movies King Kong and Sleepless in Seattle). It was fascinating to see how much it has stood the test of time.
