A Hidden Gem in Wilmington, Delaware
I visited Nemours Estate and was fascinated by the rich history and stunning architecture. The estate was built by Alfred I. du Pont in the early 1900s as a gift for his second wife. The mansion features over 70 rooms, including a conservatory, library, and music room. The outdoor gardens are equally breathtaking, with beautiful fountains, reflecting pools, and sculptures. I was amazed to learn about the engineering feats required to construct such a grand estate over 100 years ago. I highly recommend visiting Nemours Estate to experience a piece of Delaware's rich history and culture.
