The Enchanting Oasis of Nefta
I found myself in the magical oasis of Nefta, a place that seems frozen in time. The palm groves and irrigation channels here were unlike any I had seen before. The town's history dates back to the Roman Empire, and its unique urban layout reflected its past as an important stop on the caravan routes. One of the highlights for me was visiting the Ksour of Nefta, ancient fortified granaries used for grain storage and well-preserved to this day. I was also intrigued by the town's tradition of underground canals - an engineering marvel that has been in use for hundreds of years. Overall, Nefta was a fascinating blend of history, nature and an incredible cultural heritage.
