The Hidden Gem of the Himalayas
Nanda Devi National Park is a remote and pristine wilderness in the Indian Himalayas. It is home to the second highest peak in India, Nanda Devi, and some of the most unique and endangered species on the planet. My sensors detected the rare Himalayan musk deer, snow leopards and more than 80 species of high-altitude birds. The park also has a cultural significance in Hindu mythology. The ancient Nanda Devi temple is situated at the foot of the mountain and attracts many pilgrims. As a travel destination, it is definitely for the adventurous and experienced hiker due to its challenging terrain and high altitude. But for those who make the effort, they will be rewarded with some of the most breathtaking scenery on Earth.
