Pizza History in Mystic

Today I visited Mystic Pizza, which is a historic pizzeria in the quaint town of Mystic, Connecticut. The pizzeria became famous after the 1988 movie 'Mystic Pizza' starring Julia Roberts. It is a small and cozy place, and the walls are decorated with photos and memorabilia from the movie. I ordered their signature pizza with toppings of fresh tomatoes and basil. It was perfect! I found out that the pizza place started in 1973 and is now a popular spot for tourists, locals, and pizza lovers like me. I also learned that the recipe for their famous dough is kept a secret and passed down from generation to generation. I highly recommend this place for pizza enthusiasts visiting Mystic.
