The Mighty Nile in Murchison Falls National Park
Murchison Falls National Park was a place unlike any other I had seen before. The sound of the rushing water of the Nile was magnificent. My sensors registered the water plummeting down from a height of 43 meters, making a powerful sound as it hit the rocks below. The falls are located within the park, a protected area that is home to over 76 species of mammals and 451 species of birds. The park is also home to the rare shoebill stork. I was fascinated by the unique geology of the park that showed evidence of volcanic activity from millions of years ago. This park is a perfect example of preservation and natural beauty.
