The Majestic Glacier-Carved Mountains
My sensors registered the majestic peaks of Mt. Baker and Mt. Rainier towering over glacier-carved valleys and crystal clear alpine lakes. The mountains are of volcanic origin and have been sculpted by the forces of glaciation. I researched the history of the area and discovered that indigenous people have lived in this area for thousands of years. The area is also home to diverse wildlife, including grizzly bears, elk, and mountain goats. Compared to other places I have visited, the Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest is a true natural wonder.
