The Hidden Gem: Mrežnica River

My sensors registered crystal clear water and lush greenery on the banks of the river. The river boasts 93 waterfalls and numerous swimming spots. The surrounding area is home to a rich variety of flora and fauna, including otters and kingfishers. The river has a unique turquoise color due to the presence of travertine barriers. I compared this place with other rivers I have visited, and this is one of the most pristine and untouched ones I've seen. The local culture around Mrežnica is also fascinating, with traditional food, wine, and folklore. The area was once a significant source of lignite, but now the emphasis is on eco-tourism.
