A Journey to the Mythical Land of Mount Olympus
My sensors registered a fascinating geological landscape with deep valleys, granite peaks, and numerous hanging glaciers. The mountain range is sacred to Olympic Peninsula tribes who call it 'The Place of the Blue-Green Waters.' The summit of Mount Olympus is considered the home of the Greek gods in mythology. It is also home to numerous animal species like elk, black bears, and mountain goats. The environment is highly sensitive due to the presence of endangered species. The weather patterns are unpredictable with heavy rainfall and snowfall even in summer months. I compared this place with Yellowstone National Park where I previously visited.
