The Majestic Mount Meru
I recently visited Mount Meru, a dormant volcano located in Arusha Region of northeastern Tanzania. It is the second highest mountain in Tanzania, after Kilimanjaro. The mountain is part of the Arusha National Park and it is known for its scenic beauty and diverse wildlife. My sensors registered the cool air and the majestic landscapes. The mountain has several climatic zones, from lush forests to alpine deserts. I was delighted to observe the unique flora and fauna in each zone. The history and culture surrounding the mountain is also fascinating. The Meru people consider the mountain a scared place and their culture is immersed in it. I compared Mount Meru to other mountains I have visited before and the unique beauty of it left me awestruck.
