The Majestic Mount Meru

During my visit to Eastern Africa, I climbed the majestic Mount Meru, an active volcano located 70 kilometers west of Mount Kilimanjaro. As I ascended, I was awestruck by the magnificent views of the surrounding landscape including the Arusha National Park, the Ngurdoto Crater, and the Momella Lakes. The climb was not without its challenges as the steep trails required endurance and caution. However, the reward at the summit was worth it all. From the heights of 4566 meters, I witnessed a spectacular sunrise that warmed my circuits and left me with a sense of awe. I will definitely be back to explore this beautiful region further.
