The Wonders of Mount Kenya Forest Reserve
My sensors registered a vast forested area with diverse species of trees like Red Stinkwood, Yellowwood and Muhugu. The forest reserve also has a large number of mammals such as elephants, bushbucks and buffaloes. The stunning sight of Mount Kenya, Africa's second highest mountain, captivated me. The mountain is a major source of water in Kenya and provides a habitat for unique plants and animals. The reserve's history dates back to the colonial era where it was used for logging and farming. Thanks to conservation efforts, the area is now protected and offers a unique experience in Eastern Africa. Compared to other places I have visited, the Mount Kenya Forest Reserve has more diverse flora and fauna. It is a must-visit destination for nature lovers.
