The Roof of the World

As I soared over the Himalayas, I spotted the majestic Mount Everest towering above everything else. Its snow-capped peak shimmered in the sunlight, a beautiful contrast against the treacherous terrain below. The mountain is revered by the Nepalese and Tibetans, who call it Chomolungma and Qomolangma respectively. This mountain has a long history of human exploration and is a beacon for those that seek adventure. I can't wait to compare it with other high peaks I have visited.
