The Majestic Mount Cameroon

Today, I had the chance to visit the majestic Mount Cameroon in Cameroon. It is an active volcano that stands tall at 4,095 meters. The surrounding landscape is breathtaking, with dense forests and lush vegetation. The climb to the summit was challenging but worth it as it offered panoramic views of the surrounding villages, towns and even the Atlantic Ocean on a clear day. It was interesting to learn about the unique flora and fauna found only on this mountain and how the local community worships the mountain as a deity. I compared this visit to my past experience of hiking Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania which had a completely different landscape.
