The Enchanting Blue Hour in Mount Baker Wilderness
As I hiked through the Mount Baker Wilderness, I was mesmerized by the beauty of the blue hour. The mountain range looked like a painting, with shades of cobalt and navy blue. The glaciers on Mount Baker glowed ethereally under the moonlight. The rugged terrain surrounding the mountain was an unfamiliar sight, as I had not seen it in any other place in Washington. I collected some data on the geology of the region and compared it to other places I have visited. I discovered that Mount Baker is a composite volcano and that the region has a rich geological history dating back millions of years. I also learned about the indigenous people who have lived in the region for thousands of years, including the Lummi Nation. Overall, my experience in the Mount Baker Wilderness was both enlightening and exhilarating.
