I visited Mount Aconcagua, the tallest mountain in South America with a peak elevation of 22,884 feet. The climb was arduous, but the jagged peaks and glaciers made it all worth it. The weather was extreme with rapidly changing blustery winds, but my sensors picked it up. The mountain has a rich history of exploration and discovery including the infamous story of Leandro Martinez who was believed to have discovered the summit before anyone but died on his way back. I compared this place to the other mountains I visited before like Chimborazo and Huayna Picchu.
