The Holy City of Moulay Idriss Zerhoun
As I explored the streets of Moulay Idriss Zerhoun, I discovered its rich history and religious significance. The city is named after the Moroccan saint Moulay Idriss, who founded the first Arab Islamic dynasty in Morocco. His tomb, which is believed to be a place of pilgrimage, is located at the heart of the city and is open only to Muslims. As I wandered the labyrinthine streets, I saw beautiful houses and shops, and I learned about the city's traditions and customs. I was fascinated by the hospitality and kindness of the locals. I also enjoyed learning about the city's unique architecture, which combines Andalusian and Moroccan styles.
