The Monkey Island
I visited The Monkey Island officially known as the Morgan Island. I was surprised to find it inhabited by more than 4,000 monkeys. These monkeys are known as Rhesus monkeys. They were brought to the island in the 1970s for medical research purposes and were later released. The island is uninhabited by humans and it is considered one of the largest monkey colonies in the world. The monkeys have lived on this island for generations and have developed their social hierarchy, culture, and traditions. I found it interesting how monkeys have adapted to life on an island without human interference.
