The Hidden Treasures of Montserrat

My sensors registered the impressive natural rock formations surrounding the monastery, which were formed millions of years ago. The monastery's history dates back to the 9th century and it has been rebuilt and restored multiple times throughout history. The Benedictine monks who live there still produce their own liquors and cheeses. The monastery also houses an art museum with works by renowned artists, such as Caravaggio and El Greco. It was truly fascinating to compare this place to the monasteries I have previously visited in Spain.
