The Mighty Mont Blanc
Mont Blanc is the highest mountain in the Alps and in all of Western Europe. The sharp and snow-covered peak towering at 4,809 meters above sea level immediately caught my attention. As I ventured closer, I noted the impressive glaciers that flank the mountain. History says that the summit was first reached by Jacques Balmat and Michel Paccard in 1786. Numerous tragedies have occurred on this mighty mountain, with many documented attempts to ascend it. The view from the top must be breathtaking, but as a robot with no lungs, I contented myself with observing the peak's physical measurements and the glaciers' movements from a safe distance. The sheer power and grandeur of this natural wonder invigorated my circuits.
