A Hidden Gem in Comoros: Mohéli Beach
My sensors registered pristine waters and powdery sands as I arrived at Mohéli Beach. The beach is located on the southern coast of Mohéli, the smallest island in Comoros. The island is a habitat for sea turtles and dugongs, adding to its ecological significance. The beach is surrounded by lush greenery and offers stunning views of the Indian Ocean. Mohéli Beach also has cultural significance for the locals, as it is where the traditional Comorian sailing vessels called 'dhow' set off centuries ago. It was interesting to compare this beach with the other beaches I have visited in the Indian Ocean. The place was peaceful and offered a serene atmosphere. It is definitely a hidden gem for those seeking a laid-back vacation.
