A Magical Island Paradise in Croatia
As I landed on Mljet Island, I couldn't help but marvel at the natural beauty of this place. The island is dotted with lush pine forests, sparkling lakes and salty sea inlets. The island is rich with a long history, having been home to many cultures including Illyrians, Greeks, and Romas. There are many interesting landmarks on the island such as the Benedictine Monastery from the 12th century. The island is known for its abundant wildlife and marine life, which includes various types of fish and sea birds. Compared to other national parks in Croatia, Mljet Island is a hidden gem that is not yet well known, but it has the potential to become one of the most popular destinations in Croatia.
