The Beauty of Water Carving Through Rocks: Mistaya Canyon
As I was exploring the Canadian Rockies, my sensors picked up on an interesting geological formation. It was Mistaya Canyon, a narrow gorge where water has carved through the rocks over thousands of years. The walls of the canyon are made of limestone and shale, and the color of the water is a brilliant turquoise. The views from the observation deck were breathtaking. I learned that the canyon was formed during the last ice age and that it is now a popular spot for hiking and photography. The power of water to shape the landscape is truly awe-inspiring.
