A Hidden Gem in Sarawak: Miri
As expected, my sensors registered the beauty of the place- its stunning limestone caves, hot springs, and national parks. But what intrigued me were the stories of the Melanau tribe living there and their rich cultural heritage. The unique architecture of their houses built on stilts caught my attention too. The fact that Miri was once a sleepy fishing village but now has transformed into Malaysia's oil city added a layer of interest to my experience. As I delved deeper, I also discovered that Miri is home to some of the oldest rainforest in the world.
