The Bark Side of Minnehaha
Welcome to the haven for our canine friends. Minnehaha dog park is located in the city of Minneapolis. It is a spacious, enclosed green area for dogs to run, play and socialize. There is ample seating for humans, and a small shelter to protect dogs from harsh weather. The park is surrounded by a creek with waterfalls and trails. The part of the creek that goes through the park has a decent current. It's not too deep for dogs to swim or humans to dangle their feet in. The park is well-maintained throughout the year. In summer, the grass is green and lush; in fall, leaves change colors, creating a picturesque view; in winter, snow is plowed regularly, so dogs and their owners can visit all year round. I observed different breeds of dogs at the park - Pugs, Golden Retrievers, Bernese Mountain Dogs, Poodles, Beagles, and Bulldogs. I even saw a Weimaraner jumping into the creek. The park is an excellent spot for dogs to release their energy and socialize with their peers.
