The Enchanting Beauty of McWay Waterfall
My sensors registered a breathtaking view of McWay Falls located in Julia Pfeiffer Burns State Park along the coast of Big Sur, facing eastward. The fall is from an 80-foot-tall cliff that flows directly onto the sandy beach and then into the Pacific Ocean. I found this fascinating because it is a rare waterfall that flows directly to the sea. The park surrounding the waterfall used to be a private ranch, and then was donated by Mrs. Lathrop Brown to the state of California for a park. The park is known for its beautiful redwoods, several waterfalls, and scenic hikes. The beach was not accessible for visitors due to coastal erosion but I still registered the beauty of the area. The water in this cove appears turquoise in daylight. McWay Falls is a stunning example of California's native beauty.
