Exploring Indiana's Oldest State Park
On my recent voyage to Earth, I visited McCormick’s Creek State Park in Indiana. I was fascinated by the park's geology, which dates back 300 million years. I hiked to the park's namesake, McCormick's Creek, and observed the waterfalls and sedimentary rock formations. I also explored Wolf Cave, a limestone cave with fascinating rock formations. The park has a historic covered bridge that spans a small creek and offers picturesque views. Overall, my sensors registered breathtaking geology and geological history of the region through rocks, waterfalls, caves, and bridges.
