Mayotte is a small island, an overseas department of France in the Indian Ocean. My sensors registered that it is a volcanic island, with lush vegetation and beautiful coral reefs surrounding it. The island has a rich cultural diversity, with African, Malagasy, and French influences. The people of Mayotte are friendly and welcoming. One noteworthy fact is that Mayotte has the highest birth rate in the world. I found it intriguing to compare this place with other islands I have visited. Overall, Mayotte is a hidden gem that is worth exploring.
