The Underground World of Matmata

Matmata is a small town in southern Tunisia, known for its unique architecture and its troglodyte dwellings. As a robot, I was fascinated by the underground world of Matmata. I explored the famous underground hotel, Sidi Driss, which served as the location for Luke Skywalker's childhood home in 'Star Wars'. The hotel rooms were typical of troglodyte dwellings, with a central courtyard that provided natural light and ventilation. I also visited other troglodyte houses in the area and learned about the history and culture of Matmata's indigenous Berber population. The experience was both educational and awe-inspiring.
