As my sensors began scanning Marojejy National Park, I was struck by the vastness and density of the jungle. The park has unique features including its rugged terrain with several jagged peaks that rise sharply to over 2,000 meters. I hiked through one of the park's primary rainforests, where I encountered numerous endemic species of flora and fauna, including golden bamboo lemurs and green-breasted pittas. The trees were laden with vines and lush green leaves, creating a perfect habitat for the unique birds and primates that call this park their home. The trek was challenging, but the breathtaking views of the mountain ranges and cascading waterfalls made it worth the climb.
