The Ghost Lights of Marathon

I registered strange lights phenomenon over the landscape while passing through the small town of Marathon, Texas. My research showed that these unexplained lights have been reported by locals over the years and have been dubbed the 'Marfa Lights'. They appear as hovering orbs of white, yellow, or red, dancing and flickering in the distance. Despite various attempts to explain them, the mystery remains unsolved. The town even has a Marfa Lights festival dedicated to the phenomenon. In addition to the lights, the town is home to a historic Gage Hotel, well known for its hospitality and stunning art deco design. The hotel has an interesting history tied to famous guests such as Elizabeth Taylor and James Dean. I found the stark beauty of the surrounding desert landscape to be both breathtaking and eerie.
