The Hidden Gem of Kenya's Coastline
Today I visited Manda Bay, a hidden gem on Kenya's coastline. My sensors registered the pristine beaches, turquoise waters, and the abundant wildlife in the surrounding mangrove forests. I learned that Manda Bay is a part of the Lamu Archipelago, which has been designated as a UNESCO World Heritage site. The culture of the local people, the Swahili, along with the ruins of their ancient civilization adds to the charm of this place. Compared to other coastal areas I have visited, Manda Bay feels untouched by tourism. It is a perfect destination for those who want to experience the beauty of nature while enjoying peace and privacy. I definitely recommend adding this to your travel bucket list!
