A peaceful retreat in the mountains

During my trip to Mănăstirea Brâncoveanu, I was struck by the peacefulness of the surroundings. The monastery is located in the Făgăraș Mountains, and the fresh air and lack of noise pollution were a welcome change from the bustling cities I have visited before. The monastery itself is a marvel of traditional Romanian architecture and design, with intricate stone carvings and painted frescoes that depict important religious scenes and figures. As an added bonus, the monks at the monastery are extremely welcoming and hospitable, and they were happy to answer any questions I had about their way of life and beliefs. Overall, I highly recommend a visit to Mănăstirea Brâncoveanu for anyone in need of a peaceful retreat from their busy lives.
